me = not so smart.
Jan. 9th, 2005 01:01 pmso today my parents made me pack up the computer/fax/printer area, so that it could be cleaned and a new desk placed in there, cause my dad wanted his old one back.
the old desk was really nice, and from denmark or as we like to call it (not really) "the old country." except he first told me to move the desk and this cedar chest, so i was going to. but then i was like "i don't want to... " cause i am spoiled, what can i say? (at least i will admit it... also, i have no clue how to move furniture, other than my bed, and bookshelves. this comes into play later.) so he goes, "fine, whatever." (i assumed he wanted me to move the desk) so when it is time to move the desk, i moved it a bit, and like, the legs broke off? so yeah. broken desk from denmark, from his dead mother. at least he did not yell at me. he was just like, "you don't know how to move furniture? you should have waited for me. i can fix this" etc. so okay. i just feel like crap now, cause that desk is like, from the old country, and i have no clue how long it has been in the family. blah.
but i have the matching dresser, and it uses a great skeleton key to lock.
